Below are the default contents of the input field above and some example files from the original RanBunHyou distribution, with line endings fixed and ".text" extension appended for easier handling.

Japanese support is incomplete, but will work well in many cases. Shift_JIS encoding seems to work best with the tools currently available in Japan, so I have been focusing on getting that to work rather than Unicode.

That means that the program doesn't yet support non-Japanese non-Latin. (It might work, but it will likely give you unexpected results.)

If you want to use this program with classic Mac OS text files, you may use the original instead.

日本語対処は未完成のままです。 にも関わらず、多くの場合は巧く行けます。 現存の日本文字ではシフトJISが一番通用されているようですので、 ユニコードよりは、シフトJISの対処に力入れています。

因って、日本語と英語以外はまだ対処していないでしょう。 （なんとか行ける場合があったとしても期待はずれの結果が出るでしょう。）
